Plasticity in Hiding
This sculpture is a bit of a venting of frustration. I had started with a grand scheme to have a hyperboloid made between two hoops of the wire. That failed so i just tried to hide them with an abundance of string in a vaguely orderly pattern.
Drip.
Drip was inspired by the space it occupies. This part of the stairwell is a space that is never used and is one of the tallest in richview, I made something thst crosses through it all and matches the verticality of the stairwell. Each section of card is longer than the one previous to represent the acceleration of the drip as it falls.
